Valby Kino is a unique local cinema run entirely by volunteers. The cinema is run on a non-profit basis and serves as an important cultural meeting place in the heart of Valby in Copenhagen..

By choosing a more sustainable way to travel and visiting a community-run cinema, you're supporting both Copenhagen's green ambitions and local cultural life.

How It Works
1. Download the CopenPay app.
2. Complete the relevant activity and document that you travelled to Copenhagen by train.
3. Visit Valby Kino and show your Reward Screen in the CopenPay app to the volunteer at the ticket desk. The discount is NOT available online.
4. Receive a 50% discount on your movie ticket.

Please note that, due to film distribution agreements and other restrictions, the discount may not be available for all screenings.

About the Films
Most films at Valby Kino are shown in their original language with Danish subtitles.
Children's films may be shown either dubbed in Danish or in their original language with Danish subtitles.
